Residents of Sebastian and surrounding areas will soon have a new option for quick, professional medical care with the opening of MedFast Urgent Care’s latest facility at 13800 US-1 in Roseland.
A MedFast spokesperson told Sebastian Daily that, although no exact date has been set for the grand opening, they are aiming for sometime this summer.
The building, formerly a Truist Financial branch (previously SunTrust Bank), is still under renovation. The new center aims to provide accessible and affordable healthcare for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
The new Sebastian location will operate seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., catering to the community’s need for flexible healthcare access. Its goal is to provide fast, professional care for minor emergencies, work-related injuries, and routine medical needs, all while keeping costs low.
MedFast Urgent Care, founded by Dr. David Williams, has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality medical services with minimal wait times. The new facility will be equipped to handle a wide range of conditions, including common ailments like colds, flu, and ear infections, as well as more extensive injuries such as fractures, sprains, and lacerations.
The facility will offer on-site services to provide convenience for patients, including laboratory testing, X-rays, EKGs, urinalysis, and respiratory testing. MedFast also offers DOT physicals, sports and work physicals, and employment health services, making it a one-stop solution for both individuals and businesses in the area.
MedFast has an average Google review score of 4.8 out of 5, based on thousands of reviews, with the vast majority praising it as the top urgent care choice for locals. Most patients report being seen in less than an hour.
The new Sebastian office will launch telehealth services, letting patients meet with professionals online at a lower cost. The facility takes multiple insurance plans, such as Medicare, Blue Cross, and Health First, and provides budget-friendly payment options for those without insurance.
MedFast Urgent Care’s expansion into Sebastian marks its continued growth across Brevard and Indian River counties.
The network has been recognized by Florida Today as the Best Urgent Care in Brevard County for five consecutive years (2020–2024) and has garnered praise for its role in community health.
