Our new Melbourne Urgent Care Center is conveniently located on US 1, near Eau Gallie Blvd. If you are located in or around the Eau Gallie Arts District in Melbourne, Florida, our Harbor City location is just minutes away. This office is also close to those living in Indian Harbor Beach, Florida as well, MedFast Urgent care is just a short distance over the Eau Gallie Causeway.
Medfast Urgent Care Center in Melbourne offers many of the same services as hospital Emergency Rooms but much faster in a convenient, professional environment. Our average wait time to see patients is less than an hour, compared to busy hospital Emergency Rooms, which can sometimes take up to five or even six hours. MedFast Urgent Care treats more extensive injuries like animal bites and scratches, cuts, abrasions, burns (first, second and third degree), headaches and migraines, neck pain, back pain, musculoskeletal injuries, sprains and strains, fractures, UTI’s, and more. Workers’ Comp and DOT physicals are available as well.
Our locations are full-service so in addition to skipping the long wait times and prices of the emergency room, you can also skip time spent going to a pharmacy. We carry a variety of 40 different medications that are commonly prescribed in an urgent care setting which includes antibiotics, antivirals, non-narcotic pain medications, topical ointments and steroids. Procedures we can perform include but are not limited to; splinting, suturing of cuts and lacerations, administering IV fluids, and injections/vaccinations.
